International Trade Financial Solutions [ITFS] was established in 2006 and provides in depth expertise on all aspects of import and export trading overseas - whether you are an established business or just starting up and need help and guidance.
With over 20 years continuous experience in International Banking, encompassing both the hands-on, day to day processing of transactions through to management and in depth customer relationship with companies banking with one of the UK's largest banking groups, we are ideally placed to help you overcome the difficulties you have with your overseas trade.
We also have significant experience in understanding how different areas of the world view international trade, as well as the associated foreign exchange and foreign currency risks. Letters of Credit, Collections, Promissory Notes and Bills of Exchange, whilst not seen on a regular basis in much of Western Europe, are standard in many other parts of the world.
We are also able to look at ways to improve your cashflow through better use of some of these financial instruments; for example the Avalisation, or Aval, of Bills of Exchange.
The introduction of the euro in the late 1990's, whilst reducing much of the currency risks through the removal of many national currencies, has brought its own issues, and we can provide significant input and assistance in how you can get the best out of trading with Europe - and beyond.
